5. Identity Providers and Single Sign-On
Partner Portal allows an eligible user to choose to link an existing DoDelivery account to a Microsoft, Apple or Google identity. We process the provider information only to provide the requested account-linking and authentication service, keep Partner Portal secure, prevent one external identity from being linked to multiple local accounts, and investigate authentication failures. Our lawful bases are performance of our contract with you where this processing is necessary to provide account access, and our legitimate interests in providing secure, reliable access and preventing misuse. The information depends on the provider:
- Microsoft: Microsoft tenant, object and subject identifiers, display name, preferred username and any Partner Portal application roles included in the verified identity response.
- Apple: Apple's stable user identifier, email address, whether Apple indicates that a private relay email address is being used, and the name supplied by Apple when available.
- Google: Google's stable user identifier, verified email address and basic profile name
supplied through the non-sensitive
openid,emailandprofilescopes.
Linking an identity does not create a DoDelivery account, approve a partner or grant additional permissions. It only provides another way to authenticate an existing eligible account. You can replace or unlink a provider from My Profile → Identity Providers. Unlinking removes the durable identity mapping from Partner Portal but does not delete the external provider account. If you cannot access Partner Portal, contact us using the details in section 1.
Microsoft, Apple and Google process information under their own terms and privacy policies when you use their authentication services. You can review the Microsoft Privacy Statement, Apple Privacy Policy, and Google Privacy Policy.

We also have an obligation to protect individuals against fraud of their card details.Due to the amount of transactions we deal with, we use automated systems to deal with third party fraud detection. This service analyses your order data in order to make automated decisions as to weather or not we will accept your order. We find this more efficient, fairer and quicker for the customer as with a human processor and the volume of transactions we deal with on a daily basis, without this it would simply not be possible. Once we receive your data, we use strict measures and procedures to ensure it is kept secure and prevent unauthorised access.
12. Communication with DoDelivery
Using the app. Information sent between the DoDelivery app and our servers is protected in transit using HTTPS with TLS, the modern security technology often referred to as SSL. This includes signing in, managing orders and exchanging messages. Encryption in transit helps prevent other people on the network from reading or changing that information.
Virtual calls. When you make or receive a virtual call in the app, call setup uses encrypted connections and the audio between your app and our calling server is encrypted using secure real-time media (DTLS-SRTP). This applies over both Wi-Fi and mobile data.
Where that protection ends. Virtual calls are not end-to-end encrypted between you and the staff member. Our calling server processes the audio to provide the support menu, hold music, routing and, where enabled, recording and transcription. The onward connection to a staff phone or an external telephone network uses the protection available on that connection and may not be encrypted. The encryption statement in the app describes the app-to-server connection; it does not promise encryption across every onward connection or for ordinary telephone calls or email.
Recordings and transcripts. Where recording is enabled, we may retain the call audio, a transcript and related call information for the support, training and quality purposes described in this policy. Transcription is processed on our own infrastructure. Authorised staff can access these records through permission-controlled tools. Retention and your rights are explained in Retention Of Your Data and Your Rights.
